Michael’s well-rounded experience across work health and safety, employment and administrative law enables him to deliver timely and commercially focused solutions for clients.
Acting for a broad range of clients, he advises on work health and safety obligations and the employment life cycle. Michael also regularly advises on major safety incidents, prosecuting and defending safety prosecutions, provides advice regarding contracts of employment, policies, performance management and workplace investigations, and merit and judicial review of Government decisions including privacy, Government information and licensing decisions.
Michael regularly acts for clients in the NSW Supreme Court, NSW District Court, NSW Industrial Relations Commission, the NSW Civil and Administrative Tribunal, Fair Work Commission and Coroner’s Courts.
His clients span Australian and internationally-based private sector clients to Commonwealth and state government agencies.
Michael was formerly the Chair of the Young Lawyers Workplace and Safety Law Sub-Committee.
