Max is a senior projects and infrastructure lawyer with extensive experience and a proven track-record of advising tier-one clients on the development and delivery of complex, high-value infrastructure and energy projects.  Combining technical and commercial insight and in-depth sector experience within top-tier private practice firms and in-house counsel roles, Max brings a unique perspective to the structuring, procurement, financing and the delivery of major projects across a broad range of sectors including transport, rail, road, energy, water and social infrastructure.

Max has advised on some of Australia’s most significant infrastructure and first-of-their-kind renewable energy projects including large-scale public transport networks, hospital PPPs and offshore wind developments. He regularly provides strategic advice on project structuring, contracting frameworks and funding arrangements, helping clients navigate complex regulatory and commercial environments.

He also has extensive experience in infrastructure transactions and project financings, advising on mergers and acquisitions, divestments, and the refinancing of infrastructure and energy assets.

 Max has acted for a diverse range of clients in the public and private sectors (including governments, contractors, developers, consultants and financiers). He is adept in understanding and balancing the interests of the finance parties and equity investors with those of the builders, operators and maintainers in one integrated contract and is able to leverage on his varied experience to offer solutions and optimal risk allocation to ensure whole-of-project delivery outcomes.
